ORKUT!! I can live without it...

It has been more than 3 years since I joined World's best online community Orkut!! More than 5000 scraps, 700 friends, 40 communities. Doesn’t this statistics enunciate that I am an avid Orkuter. Looking back, did I benefit from it? Yeah, a handful of friends indeed plus a lot of sweet as well as bitter experiences. It is a swank venue where you can expose your pursuit and your personal skills. It’s also a business venue where you can market yourselves or prove your leadership skills in a community debate or moderating it. Last but not the least it is a dating site or in my words a matrimonial site where you can kill your time.

I have experienced all these in my long stride. Today I feel it’s high time for a filtering. Now the tally reads 0 scraps, 120 friends and 6 communities .What’s the reason for that?? It is a New Year resolution. Indeed I mean it,a New Year resolution on August 17, 2008 or Chingam 1, 1184 to keep focus on Quality rather than Quantity!!

Better late than Never

My first serious step towards this Blogging World. Is this my first post!! Nop..really not. I had scripted here something before, thanks to the delete button. What should I write?? That really is a crisis, not because I had nothing to write, but to choose from an area of interest...Should it be Movie Reviews, Electronic Gadgets and their comparison, Cricket or F1 or about Travel and Living or about the Educational System in India or Indo-US Nuke deal or about my Campus days or Corporate Working culture ?? The list goes on and on.
Now, how should I announce my entry to this World? To be frank I don’t know.
Whatever… I am preparing myself to be back soon, in this weird place...Welcoming your comments.
